Of Waikanae, Wellington. Unexpectedly in Auckland on 22 December 2022, aged 84. Much loved husband of Glenis, and cherished Dad of Hanley, Rachel and Meredith, and father-in-law of Vanessa and Michael. Adored Grandad (Da) of Sophia, Louis, Mia, Oscar, Hugo and Lucie.
He will be greatly missed.

On December 18, 2022, in Christchurch. Much loved wife of the late Samuel. Loved mother of Edwin, Darren, Paula, and Glenn. Loving nana of Lance and Stephanie; Maria, Brooke, and the late Chante; Natasha, Kees, Courtney, and the late Michael. Loved aunty to all her nephews and nieces. BERGE, Gordon Clive
Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022 at Green Gables Aged Care and Retirement Village, Nelson. Aged 77 years. Loved brother of Jacqueline, Allan and the late Vera and loved uncle of his nephews and nieces. The family extends its special thanks to the staff at Green Gables for their wonderful care of Gordon. At Gordon’s request, a private cremation has been held.

Peter passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family. Much loved husband, and best friend of Lynn for 63 years, dearly loved father and father-in-law of David and Jacquie, Belinda and Murray, Carol and Letina, Andrea and Francesca, Lyndal and Stuart, Jonathan and Leaine, loving Grandad of Isaac, Caleb, Tom, Lucy, Nick, Will, Charlotte, Cam, Ollie, Milly, Sydney, Millie, and Ruby, proud Great-Grandad of Nixon, Navy, Sofia, and ‘one to come’. The family would like to extend their genuine gratitude to the team at Ward 24, for their care during this difficult time. A private cremation has been held. Peter will be missed dearly by his family.

It is with great sadness we report the passing of our cherished and loved wife, mother, Oma and Aunty. Mum passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Dunedin Hospital on December 21, 2022. A devoted Wife and soulmate of Kees, lovely Mum and Mother-in-law of Carl and Rhianon, Craig and Kirstie, Barbara, Adrian and Helena and adored Oma of Aedan, Brennan, Mackenzie, Isla, Kees, Imri, and Evelyn. Daughter of Bert and Barbara Sandford (both dec). We wish to acknowledge Dr Abraham Visagie and the staff at CHF and the wonderful team of dedicated staff in Dunedin ICU. Loved daughter of the late James and Hilda Rutherford, sister of Ritchie and the late Stella. Adored and Loved Mum and mother-in-law to the late Miriam, Clare and Laurie.
