Passed away peacefully on 17 January 2023. Beloved wife of the late Christos. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Trigona & John, Catherine & John, Dimitra & Johnny. Passed away on January 16, 2022, in her home as she wished and in the loving care of her family. Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Glen and Allison (Greymouth), the late Gloria Meachem, Pamela Estree. Adored and special aunty and great-aunty of all her nieces and nephews. On January 16, 2023, at Frances Hodgkins Retirement Village. Dearly loved member of Nga Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand, in the 66th year of her religious profession. Dearly loved daughter of the late William and Mary, and loved sister and sister-in-law of John, William, Margaret and Kevin Ryan, Mary and Raymond Casper, Joan, and Edward Bonisch (all deceased). And a very much loved Aunt. Very special thanks to the Management and Staff of Frances Hodgkins Retirement Village for their loving and respectful care of Rita. A Vigil celebration of Rita’s life will be held at 7.00pm on Thursday, January 19, in the Mercy Chapel and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11.00am on Friday, January 20, in the Mercy Chapel, Macandrew Road, South Dunedin, followed by interment at the Andersons Bay Cemetery. FISHER, Bruce Tracey

On Monday, January 16, 2023, aged 80 years. It is with great sadness that after a long illness we announce the passing of Bruce. A dearly much loved husband, soulmate and best friend of Maureen. A loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Anna, Jo and Mark, adored grandad of Brittany, Harriett, Olivia, Charlotte, Jordie, Digby, Cassidy and Ella. Bruce was a passionate cattle breeder. He was a legend in the Charolais breed, the farming industry and the local community. He will be hugely missed.
