With the heaviest heart, Rex’s family announces that he passed away peacefully on Tuesday 24th January 2023 at Taranaki Base Hospital, after a short illness, aged 84 years. Much loved husband and sweetheart of Melva for 60 years. Beloved father and father-in-law to Deborah and Craig, Leonie, Michelle and Neville and Melissa. Super proud Grandad of Brittany, Jarrod, Claudia and Dannielle. A service will be held for Rex at TET Stadium, Eliot Street, Inglewood, on Monday 30th January 2023 at 11.00am. Special thanks to the team at ICU for their wonderful care and support.
