PALMER, Ruth Isabella
Aged 82, beloved wife of Sonny. Adored mother of Caroline, Hugh and Michelle Dawson, loved grandmother. Loved oldest sister of Joan Thomas (dec), and Ann Whippy-Thomas, loved sister-in-law of Pat and Colin McCallum, much loved friend and mentor of Denise Stacey. Loved aunt of all her niece’s and nephews. Peacefully on 3.1.2023 at Southland Hospital after a very short illness. As per Ruth’s wishes a small family gathering has taken place. The family would like to thank Paulo, and Darrin at Fraser’s funeral home for their support and compassion and thank you to Maree Jenkins for the wonderful eulogy.
