Lina passed away peacefully at home in her 95th year on 19th January 2023. Loving wife of the late Noel Desmond (Des) de Castro. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Mary (dec) and Ray Cook (dec), Josef Freiman (dec), Fred (dec) and Margaret Freiman (dec), and Freda and Joe Dowd (dec). Loved aunty of her nieces & nephews and their families. Rosary will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hawera, on Monday 23rd January, at 5.30pm. A Requiem Mass for Lina will be celebrated at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Victoria St, Hawera, on Tuesday 24th January 2023, at 11.00am. Thereafter to the Okaiawa Cemetery.
