ALLEN, Dr Rodney
Born April 6th 1942 in Grimsby, England. Died peacefully at home with his family on Friday 13th January. Adored husband of Gerrie, loving father to Jeremy & Blanka, Matt & Ruth, Simon & Steph and treasured Poppa to Ruby, Calvin, Jameson, Emily, Lewis, Alice & Grace. Special thanks for the wonderful care and support from Dr Anne O’Donnell, the team at Bowen Icon Cancer Centre, the District Nurses and Mary Potter Hospice staff. A service to celebrate Rodney’s life will be held at St Ninian’s Church, 208 Karori Rd, on Wednesday 18th January at 1pm followed by a private cremation.
