Formerly of Heriot, West Otago and Utrecht, the Netherlands, peacefully in Dunedin on 10 January 2023. 93 years young. At peace with the Lord. Much loved Husband of the late Mary Brook (formerly Sim) of Heriot. Very loved father of Elizabeth Brook of Hamilton, Janette (Jenny) Fieldwick and partner Warren (Jess) Jessop, and of Michael van Drogenbroek of Hamilton. Loved Father-in-law of Ritchie and Wendy Fieldwick. Adored Grandfather of Diana and Tim, Sarah, Nicholas and Alyse and Sebastian van Drogenbroek. Loved Great-Grandfather of wee Sylvie. Special companion of Trish “Trishee”. Very much loved by all his family in the Netherlands. Special thanks to staff at St Barnabas Rest Home, St Clair, Dunedin.
