Peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Geoff (deceased). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Mary (deceased), Vicki and Robin Brown, Greg and Anne, Chris and Clare, Clare and Peter McKenzie, Jude and Ken Mackwell; mother-in-law of Penny (deceased). Loved Nana Val of her 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A big thank you to the staff of Christchurch Hospital, especially Ward 11 and heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Nurse Maude Hospice for the loving care they gave Val. In lieu of flowers, donations in Val’s name to Nurse Maude Hospice would be much appreciated. A service to celebrate Val’s life to be held at St Mary & St Francis de Sale Catholic Church, Rangiora on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 12.00pm.
