Death

In the steadfast love of the lord that never ceases, and his mercies that never come to an end, Robert (Bob) John Commane passed away on 7th January 2023. Beloved husband of Christine, esteemed father of Ryan and Damian, endeared father-in-law of Fran and Char, cherished grandfather of Jesse, Ryan, Aaliyah, Amy-leigh, Joel, and Zion, and great-grandfather in every sense of the word of Atticus. Bob’s spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of his descendants and they’ll be bathing their lips and their dry dusty throats at the Opunake Bowling Club, after the completion of the 11.00am Service on 10th January at Our Lady, Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Opunake, followed by his interment at the Opunake Cemetery.
