SOLOMON, Ratapu Nelson Leigh
It is with the heaviest of hearts, we, the whanau of Ratapu Nelson Leigh Solomon, announce that he passed away peacefully surrounded by his whnau late Friday 6 January 2023, with a total innings of 77 years. Eldest son of the late Harata and Matuaiwi Solomon. Beloved husband for nearly 50 years of ‘his treasure’ Ann (Mandy). Dearly loved Dad of Gina, Támara and Pehi James. Best Koro ever to his darlings, Miriama, Te Pehi, Taamara, Tiana, Raukawa, Rasmus and Maarja. Even more dearly cherished Koro Nelson to Amaia, August, Indiarna, Ocean, Eliana, Ahurangi (dec), Onyx and Awariki. The tangihanga will be held at Takapuwahia Marae, Takapuwahia, on Tuesday 10 January 2023, at 11.00am.
