WEEDS, Ruby Elizabeth (née Reid)
26.2.1928 — 2.1.2023
Loved wife of the late Ken (d.1994). Elizabeth and Mark (Gibb), John and Pam, Paul and Denise (Brisbane) sadly advise the passing of their dear mum, on 2 January 2023, in her 95th year. Ruby was a much loved Mum, Grandma, Grandmama, Sister, Aunty with family globally in England, Northern Ireland, Australia and South Africa. Ruby was also a dear and, enduring friend to many. In Mum’s own words, “A life lived well, shared with wonderful family and friends, in places I wouldn’t have dreamt of as a red-headed-twin growing up in Wellington.”
Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard still loved, still missed and very dearly loved.
