Peacefully at Oakwoods Residential Care. He has gone through the veil from this mortal life to life eternal with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Loving husband of the late Peggy June. Dad and father-in-law to Bruce and Sarah (Nelson), Susan and Reg Hellesoe (Auckland), David and Nicky (Auckland), and Fergus and Kim (Springston). A granddad of 12 and great-granddad of 8. Our thanks to the staff at Oakwoods for their care of Don these past 2 years. A private cremation has been held. A memorial service for Don’s family and friends will be held at St Paul’s Church, Brightwater, on Saturday, January 7, at 2.00pm.
