Passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson on Thursday, December 29, 2022, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Anne. Much loved father of Wendy and David, Terry (Australia), Barry and Lyn*, and Craig. Adored Poppa of Lisa and Alastair, Glen and Meegan, Keri and Anthony (Australia); Kelly and Towny, Tony and Jaz, Amy and Sam, and Hayley and Chris. Cherished Great-Poppa of Cameron (Australia), Hannah and Emma; Lillian; Poppa John to Millie and Lucy, Jackson and Lucas; Koby, and Gracie. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jimmy and Averil (Australia), Maureen* and Carl*, Desmond*, Graeme*, Lorraine* and Jimmy*, and Valerie. Loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Rowena Jackson Retirement Village for their love and care of John. A Celebration of John’s life will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, 1.30pm, in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Cremation to follow.
