OATES, Joan Emily (nee Culley)
Born in Tynemouth, England. Died in Te Awamutu on 20th December 2022 in her 100th year. Ex UK Women’s Land Army. Loved wife of the late Charlie, dearly loved mother, mother-in-law and grandma of Carol (deceased), Wendy, Brenda and Wayne, Stephen and Leonie, Jill and Kevin (Norfolk Island), and their families. At Peace. A big thank you to the staff at CHT, Te Awamutu for their kindness to mum. A Service for Joan will be held at Alexandra House Chapel, 570 Alexandra St, Te Awamutu, on Wednesday 28th December at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.
