TOPINE, Edward Ngawai (Eddie)
Passed away peacefully in Nelson Hospiltal, surrounded by his family, on Friday, December 16, 2022, aged 80. Dearly loved husband of Rongo, beloved father and father-in-law to Alice and Paul, Richard and Deborah, Richard (dec), Brent , Robert and Kim. Grandfather of Robyn, Kodi, Emma, Mya, and Tane, and Great-Grandfather of Aria and Koia. Brother of Eliane, Sheryl, Rhonda, Carol, Carol (Topine), Anthony (dec), Maurice (dec), Jan (dec) and Lynn (dec). Richard’s ashes will be interred with his father. Eddie will be welcoming visitors at the Onetahua Marae, Pohara Valley, Takaka, from December 17-20, concluding with a graveside service on Monday, December 20 at 2.00pm, at Rototai Cemetery.
