Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 9th December. Loved husband of the late Elizabeth and dearest partner and best friend of Jean. Brother of the late Matthew and brother-in-law to Angela Hammond. Loved father of Jenny and Alastair (Ernie) Banfield, Neil and Del Hammond. Garney to Rachael, Andrew, Scott and Sophie, Kate and Ryan. Great-Garney to Murphy Hammond. Cherished by Kirsten, Claus and Ashley. Favourite Godfather of Alec Forman. As per David’s wishes, a private cremation has already been held. A memorial service will be held early in the new year.
