Died at home peacefully on Friday 9 December 2022 at the age of 53. Dearly loved life partner of Leigh Thornett, adored father of Jaxon, treasured son of Hana Hair and the late Rodney Tahu and beloved step-son of Colin Hair. Cherished brother of Hami Tahu and brother-in-law of Kate Whareaitu. Much loved Uncle to Hami (Junior) and Te Arai. Loved step-brother to Braden Hair. Much loved by his ‘in-laws’ Judy Thornett, Tracey and Carl, Shane and Chris, Carl and Amy, and families. The farewell to Hemi will be held on Wednesday 14 December at 2.00pm at 90 Omori Road, Omori, Turangi.
