Passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022, at Te Hopai Home & Hospital, Wellington. The loved wife of the late Brian Charles Walker, her family (Melanie, Gerard, Miranda, Mark and Steve), would like to acknowledge the incredible caregivers who supported her both in Golden Bay and later Wellington, and in particular the staff at Te Hopai for their loving care of Gwen over the last three years. We are so grateful. Many people will remember Gwen from her long and distinguished teaching career at Tawa College, where she held the role of Associate Principal at her retirement in 1994. A private ceremony for her immediate family was held in Wellington earlier this week.
