At Charles Fleming Retirement Village on Sunday 27 November 2022, aged 77 years. Cherished wife of Donald McAlpine (dec), and much loved stepmother of Andrew, Matthew and Suzi. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Helen Edwards & John (dec), and Bronwyn Miles (dec), and loved by her extended family and friends. A funeral service for Andrea will be held at the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home, 9–11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Monday 5 December at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Dementia Wellington (www.dementiawellington.org.nz). The family would like to express grateful thanks to all the wonderful staff at Charles Fleming for their ongoing professional care and support and for the freely given hugs and laughter that uplifted both Andrea and Helen.
