VERWEIJ, Gloria Dawn (née Remi)

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Gloria, aged 88. Gloria was the dearly loved wife of the late Joe Verweij, the cherished mother/mother-in-law of David and Blythe, Johan and Sue, Marcel and Marietjie, the much loved Nana of Alex and Grace and the inspiring and treasured Nana of Brielle and Tiana. She was also the beloved sister of Ramona (deceased), Joan (deceased), Brian, Eva, Peter, and Rana. Gloria and Joe were very proud of their family and worked hard to contribute to the Christchurch community, having founded and run the Cathedral Square Market and Kids Market for over 25 years. We know how much Gloria missed Joe since he passed in 2013 and we hope the two of you will be reunited as you both now
