NEILSON, Dr David John Major
David died on November 2, 2022 in Waikato Hospital. The beloved second son of the late John and Anne Neilson. The dear brother of Joanne Neilson and Michael Neilson. Beloved father of Finlay, Isla,Ziggy and Harriet. Loving grandfather of Leopold. Dear uncle of his nephews and nieces. David published many papers on social policy and taught students at Waikato University for many years. He was a passionate tennis player and interested in sailing. A memorial gathering will be held for friends in Christchurch at a later date.
