LETT, Barbara Elizabeth

Barb died on Saturday 5th November 2022 after a long and gutsy battle with cancer. Loved youngest child of Mary and Jack Nieper and sister of Chic Coleman and Colin and Allan Nieper. Married to Joe for 56 memorable years, Barb is the very much loved (but sometimes, much to her glee, seriously embarrassing) mother of Jodi, Meegan, Shelley and Perry, and one of a kind mother-in-law of Eddie, Simon and Louise. A super proud Nanny of grandsons Cooper and Harry Lunn, and loved aunt and friend. Barb was a vocal supporter and life member of the Wanganui Motorcycle Club and Kaierau Netball Club, and kidnapper of many a dog. Barb’s service will be at the Eulogy Lounge, Wanganui Racecourse at 10.00am on Friday 11th November, followed by a lap around her beloved Cemetery Circuit. The service will also be livestreamed on www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz... Please, no flowers at Barb’s request, but she would greatly appreciate any donations to Hospice Wanganui or the SPCA.
