VAN RIET, Shirley Helen(nee Pritchard)

Of Titahi Bay. Shirley passed away in her loving daughter’s hands on Thursday 3 November 2022, aged 73 years. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of the late George. Much loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Ian and Samantha, Rochelle and Willie, Joanne and John. Treasured Nana of Camden and Hamish, Liam, Elle and Emma, Katrina, Christopher and Sam. Loved Great-Nana of Kaydence and Anisha, Skyla and Jove. Shirley will be sadly missed by all of her extended family and many friends. Sincere thanks to the SAPU Ward and Palliative Care Teams at Wellington Hospital and Wellington Free Ambulance for taking such special care of Mum in her last days. Flowers are welcome or alternatively a donation in memory of Shirley to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held in the Whenua Tapu Chapel, Airlie Road, Pukerua Bay, on Tuesday 8 November at 1.00pm.
