Peacefully at Woburn Enliven Village, Lower Hutt, on 24th October 2022, aged 79 years. Journalist, Sports Writer, Wine Connoisseur, Raconteur, Wordsmith… Great friend and husband of Pam and the late Viv, loved father of Andrew & Donelle, Tim & Lauren, Nick & Sarah, and stepdad to Jude, Kate & Adam and Eve & Steve. Amazing Grandad to Ollie and Jake, Jono and Al, Maddie and Alex, Phoebe, Tom and Alex, and Tai. A celebration of Rob’s life will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, cnr Ward Street and Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt on Monday 31st October 2022 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
