STAMMER, Valerie Elizabeth
On October 27, 2022, peacefully, at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, Dunedin; aged 87 years. Most dearly loved wife and cherished soul mate of 65 years to Michael, devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law to Andrew and Geraldine (Melbourne), and Karen and Steve Maunsell (Wingatui), adored Grandma to Dominic, and Christian; Elizabeth and Johnny, Christopher and Ellie, and Hamish and Poppy, cherished friend to so many over the years. The family sincerely thank Nicola Steel and the dedicated team in the Special Care Unit for their care. Val faced her dementia with incredible grace and bravery and she never lost her deep love for her family. In accordance with Val’s wishes, a private cremation will be held.
