NEWTON, Denis Leonard

Graduated to the great golf club in the sky on 20th October 2022, aged 90 years young. He died peacefully at home surrounded in the love of his family. He is now reunited with the love of his life. Denis lived a full, healthy and happy life until just a couple of months before he passed. Golf enthusiast, cricket mad, artisan wood-turner, supporter and helper at the Naenae Menz Shed, life member of the Wellington Guild of Wood-turners, swimming teacher and coach for many years. A devoted son, brother, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, and a true and loyal friend to many. His children Lynette, Keith and Debby and the wider family would welcome you to his memorial service and celebration of life to be held on Sunday 30th October at 10.00am at the Manor Park Golf Club.
