SMITH, Mary Elizabeth (nee Rankine)
Formerly of Picton. Passed away peacefully on October 17, 2022, at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village, Nelson, aged 85 years. Wife of Eric Smith (deceased), much loved sister and sister-in-law of Richard Rankine (deceased) and Maureen Rankine. Stepmother and friend of John Smith. Dearly loved Aunty to her nieces and nephew. The family wish to express their gratitude for the wonderful care and love the staff at the SCU and hospital unit at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village Nelson provided to Mary.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place.
