SZEWCZUK, Rosa Maria

Formerly of Woodville. Peacefully, aged 95 years, on Sunday 16th October 2022 in the care of Radius Peppertree, Palmerston North. Beloved wife of Fedor (dec). Dearly loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Yurgen and Mary Shaffer (Palmerston North), Helmut and Wendy Shaffer (Palmerston North), Raimund and Camille Shaffer (Gisborne), Rosey and Robin Doyle (Nelson), and Christine Robinson (Palmerston North). Dearest and most awesome grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Rosa’s life will be held at Terracehaven Chapel, Palmerston North, at 10.30am, on Wednesday 26th October 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate a donation in memory of Rosa to the Ukraine War Relief Fund at the chapel or c/- Manawatu Golf Club special appeal, directly supporting a small team on the ground in Ukraine assisting with relief for families and communities devastated by the war.
