On October 11, 2022, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital after a short illness, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Eileen, father and father-in-law of Victoria (deceased), Andrea and Scott Suderman (Canada), Daniel and Nicola. Loved special Grandad to Emily, Charlotte and David. Son of the late Bernie and Beryl, stepson of Vera, brother and brother-in-law of Murray, Janet, Derek and Dawn, John (all deceased), June Judd, Tom and Joan (deceased), Gerard and Lyn, Phil and Raewyn. Loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Hornby Medical Centre and Christchurch Hospital.
