MORAN, Mary Annette (Annette)

Our lovely Annette has left us. Adored wife of the late Ned, and wonderful mother and mother-in-law of George and Celia, and Maria and John. Much loved grandma of Phoebe and Hugo. Sister and sister-in-law of the John and Kath (both deceased), and the Maurice Connell (dec); also Pat and Dan (dec) Moran, and Mary McClymont (dec). Aunty Annette to the Connell clan (Tony and Deli, Linda and Bill, Bryan and Andrea), and the Moran-Coutts family (Mark, Deborah, Craig, and Julia). Included in Annette’s circle of love were Gayle Lauder; the Lyftogt families in the UK and Spain; special cousins; former neighbours from Taiko, Christchurch and Cass Bay; the walking group; the Chatswood friends; and her lifelong friends Maureen and Joy.
No longer walking the hills, she will walk beside us in
our memories.
Grateful thanks to the staff of Chatswood Retirement Village who supported Annette and provided amazing nursing care at the end. Messages to the family of Annette Moran, c/- 19 London St, Richmond, Christchurch 8013. A private Requiem Mass was held on Friday 14th October at St Peter’s Catholic Church, Beckenham, and thereafter to Avonhead Memorial Cemetery where she joined Ned.
