TUNNICLIFFE, Sister Shirley (DOLC)
On Thursday 13 October 2022, peacefully at Wellington Regional Hospital, aged 86 years. Beloved member of the Sisters of Compassion for 68 years. Loved daughter of the late Margaret and Cyril Tunnicliffe, and loved sister and sister-in-law of Shona and Ross Smith, and Don (dec) and Ray (dec). Much loved Aunt to all her nieces and nephews, and a friend to many.
May she rest in peace.
A vigil service will be held at the Chapel of Our Lady’s Home of Compassion, 2 Rhine Street, Island Bay, Wellington, on Sunday 16 October, at 4.00pm. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the above Chapel on Monday 17 October at 11.00am, followed by interment at Karori Cemetery.
