CHAMBERS, Elizabeth Frances (Lesley)
On October 4, 2022, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Chambers, and mother and mother-in-law of Simon and Liz, Morgan and Antony, Angela and Chris, Timothy and Diana, Guy and Heather, Brett and Leah, Noel and Manny, much-loved mother-in-law of the late Kim and the late Helen, and much-loved grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Josephine and Fergus and the late Stewart and Keith, and treasured aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the compassionate team of caregivers at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village and staff of ward 4, Christchurch Hospital. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Lesley’s life will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, Greers Road, on Monday, October 10, at 10.00am, private interment to follow at Belfast Cemetery.
