Promoted to Glory, on October 4, 2022, peacefully, at Bellevue Residential Care, aged 95 years. Dearly loved and treasured wife of the late Percy. Treasured and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Robyn (deceased), Sandra, and Glenys and Kelvin. Dearly loved grandmother of Lyndon and Amanda, and great-grandmother of Lottie. Loved sister and sister-in-law, and much loved aunty to her nieces and nephews. Barbara’s family acknowledge the compassionate care and love, shown to Barbara by the staff and carers at Bellevue. Messages to the family of the late Barbara Oberg, c/- PO Box 26112, Christchurch 8148. At Barbara’s request, a private cremation has been held. A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held in the Christchurch City Salvation Army Community and Worship Centre, corner of Salisbury and Colombo Streets, on Monday, October 17, at 11.00am.
