Special brother of Eileen, special brother-in-law of Janette and Gary, Greg and Sharon, and Ken. Favourite uncle and great-uncle of Kelly and Sara; Garth and Sasha, Xavier, Haali, Giovanni, Jorja, and Coco; Ian and Laura, and Esther; Craig; Stephen and Lisa, Ashleigh and Raven; Jenna; Bianca and Brad, Maddison and Malachi; Abigail and Holden; Natalia; Katarina and Christian; Suzannah; Dominic; Sapphire; Latoya; and Koro to Kareana, Carly, Krystal, Mikayla, Papa, and Ethan; uncle to many Whangai nieces and nephews. Long-time member of the Kereru Sports and Cultural Club and their Masters Softball team.
