On April 13, 2018, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Britten), dearly loved father and father-in-law of Derek and Anne-Catherine, Sandra and Alan Campbell, Murray and Jackie, Alan and Melissa, dearly loved grandfather of Olivia, Julian, Micah, Benjamin, and Elias; Anna, James, and Jonathan; Cameron, and Edward; Sophie, Timothy, and Jeremiah, dearly loved great-grandfather of Emanuel, and Lucia.
