Tauhara Park

Our team will be doing some tree work in Tauhara Park from Monday 21 September. Sections of the path on the Clements Cr side of the park may be partially blocked while the work is done. It is expected to take several days and includes removing some trees and pruning others to maintain their health.

River Rd closure for tree pruning

The section of River Rd between Glen Lynne Ave and Wairere Dr will be closed to through traffic from 6.30am to 3pm on Tuesday 1 September. The closure is to allow arborist crews to safely remove trees and prune along River Rd. A detour for Wairere Dr will be clearly marked along Glen Lynne Ave. … View moreThe section of River Rd between Glen Lynne Ave and Wairere Dr will be closed to through traffic from 6.30am to 3pm on Tuesday 1 September. Recycling: easy as 1, 2, 5

Sadly, no one offshore wants to buy Kiwis’ used plastics. This means that while we will be collecting plastics 1-7, we’ll now only be recycling plastics 1, 2 and 5.
