These berries contain rich levels of health promoting micronutrients and polyphenols. They are packed with antioxidants, vitamin C, anthocyanins and flavonoids. NZ blackcurrants are known for having some of the highest anthocyanin levels in the world. Blackcurrants are readily available in the frozen section of your supermarket.
Add to your smoothie, yoghurt, make a chia seed blackcurrant jam or just let the frozen berry melt on your tongue as a snack. Be warned the high anthocyanins in blackcurrants will stain your tongue and fingers dark blue/red.

Potential health benefits of blackcurrants:
• Improve or help digestive issues and feed your beneficial
bacteria in the gut.
• May help to reduce inflammation (extinguish the fire burning in
your body).
• Help strengthening your immune system.
• Improve function and structure of blood vessels.
• Contribute to eye and brain health and exercise recovery

I am available for TELE-CONSULTS via Phone, Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Skype to discuss your personal requirements
