In a number of BAPMOX00016 units, sold from 25/05/2023 to 19/03/2024 it has been identified that the batteries may expand, which indicates a fault in the battery component of the product.
The expanded batteries can pose safety risks, including overheating, potential fire hazards, and risk of injury from battery rupture, compromising the safety of users and their property.
What to do...
If you own a BAPMOX00016 purchased between 25/05/2023 to 19/03/2024 unit, please stop using it immediately and disconnect it from any power sources - if you have a proof of purchase, dispose of it at a nearby e-waste facility or bring it into your nearest PB Tech store for disposal then contact the Momax customer service team to arrange a credit.
If you don’t have a proof of purchase – please contact the Momax customer service team for advice on next steps - DO NOT THROW THE UNIT INTO HOUSEHOLD RUBBISH OR USE A COURIER TO RETURN TO PB TECH.
