Who needs a plant doctor?

Mikaela Wilkes Reporter from Homed

UPDATE: Thank you for all your questions. We're picking the best to send off to the houseplant doctor from Kings Plant Barn and the answers will be published in an article on Homed soon.

Are your houseplants looking worse for wear? The experts at Kings Plant Barn would love to help. Send us your houseplant questions and problems to homed@stuff.co.nz, or leave them in the comments, for the houseplant doctor to diagnose. Pictures are encouraged.

Thames Market - Every Saturday

Thames Market

Steampunk Weekend! While there is a separate themed market in the adjacent St Georges Church Hall, a huge number of stallholders with a focus on the craze have booked in for Thames Market this Saturday - new ones and regular ones. They're just too many to list. You need to come down and see for yourself. And because it's this special weekend we are going until 1 pm. Be ready to park some way away as Pollen Street will be closed for the best part of the morning for the big Steampunk parade.

Steampunk photoshoot at Thames Museum

Carolyn from Thames

At Thames Museum we're looking forward to Steampunk this Friday and Saturday. A penny-farthing, a mangle and a chaff cutter are just three of the Victorian artefacts that you can pose with. Come and see what else takes your fancy for an old-time photoshoot. Open Friday to Wednesday, 10am to 3pm, corner Pollen and Cochrane Streets.
