Data scam

Maxine from Rural West Whangarei

Just had an Indian sounding voice ring me, he was outside because I could hear the wind blowing. He launched straight into his speal, "I'm from the/your (Didn't catch it because of the noise) data network what is your email?" I said "Excuse me? "He said again " From data network what is your email? " I replied in a loud voice, "FK Off , your just a scam." To which he replied, " Don't FKING Talk to me like that you FKING BITCH". I could hear he was still there, so I laughed and said, "See I was right " lol lol lol, and I hung up.
His cell phone number had come up on my phone.
He rings back on a private number. I answered with a "Hello." He immediately starts to say he had rung the wrong number, what was my email? I said, "Your a scam artist FK OFF "and hung up. Surprisingly he hasn't rung back lol.
I know ladies aren't supposed to use profanity but I'm sick of the way these people dup so many.
I'm relaying this conversation so as to alert members to the scam. "Hi I'm from the data network, what is your email address? ".
I know there been many versions , sadly we need to stay up to date with their Scams.

Pet transport overseas

Kay from Central Whangarei

We are emigrating overseas and we are taking our cat with us. Does anyone know a pet transport company they can recommend.
I asked the vet but they didn’t know of any in particular. When I googled the subject loads of companies came up so it’s a lottery!
Just thought someone might know of one that they could recommend???
Thanks ☺️

Margaret is just 11 when she moves with her family to a new town. The change inspires Margaret to think about everything that is going on with her life and in her friendships.

Margaret relies on her mother, Barbara and her grandmother, Sylvia for love and support. They too, are coming to terms with the next phase of her lives in a new town. Three generations of women consider their place in the world and what brings meaning to their lives.

A touching adaptation of a book which means so much to so many. "Are You There?" shows us relationships that balance humour and heart and asks the big questions.
