How do you feel about Northland being 'an island' due to Auckland's Covid-19 restrictions?

Denise Piper Reporter from Whangarei Leader

Northland is now effectively an island due to Auckland's Covid-19 restrictions, with no chance to travel to or through Auckland. How do you feel about this? Has it impacted you? And what do you think about all the traffic travelling up from Auckland on Wednesday?

No NZ COVID Tracer QR poster? No business from me!

Oliver Neighbourly Lead from One Tree Point

I spent some time in Whangarei (CBD and Okara Centre) yesterday, and I noticed that very few businesses displayed an NZ COVID Tracer QR poster on their premises.
So here's my message to all the businesses in the Whangarei and Bream Bay area: If you're too complacent and indifferent to be a part of The Team and can't be bothered to invest about 5 to 10 minutes to request your poster here, print it and display it, then I can't be bothered spending my time and money at your business.
It's that simple. Really.
