Kidnap arrest after woman allegedly assaulted at Onerahi lookout
Kia ora neighbours, a man has been charged with kidnapping and threats to kill after a woman was allegedly assaulted at Onerahi lookout. Detective Sergeant Dave Hamilton, Whangārei Police, said, the incident was said to have taken place on June 15. "A woman was allegedly grabbed and assaulted before she managed to hide in bush and alert a nearby resident for help,” Hamilton said.
