Be the hope someone needs: Help prevent suicide

Appliance Shed

Did you know that three families lose a loved one to suicide every two days in NZ?

The current “harden up, stay staunch and let’s not talk about it” attitude towards anyone with a mental illness or having suicidal thoughts is a major problem. Through changing attitudes, lives will be saved.

The Appliance Shed is kick-starting a fundraising campaign to support the life-saving work of Mike King and The Key To Life Trust. The Trust equips our nation's young people to check in on their mates and remind them it’s okay to ask for help. We believe it’s important for all of us to feel valued and know that someone has your back when times are tough. Join us, donate, and make a difference.

Mini Boos - Kiki

Paul Neighbourly Lead from Northland

Hi
My son is trying to find a place to buy a Mini Boos, in particular, a Kik. But he is finding it hard to find a place in NZ or one that will ship to NZ. See photo. If you KNOW where to buy locally or where to ship from, then I am all ears. Thank you.

Found Bikes

Prevention Team from Wellington District Police

Hi,

Four identical bikes in the image attached were located in Wellington Central in the weekend. They have unique numbering, so appear to come from a set of many. They look to be 24inch wheels, so could belong to a school or another organisation that supplies bikes for school children.

If you have any information that could help with finding the owner or if you are the owner please message me, or come into the Wellington Central Watch house.

Thanks

Sergeant Hamish KNIGHT
Wellington Metro Community Policing Team
