Recent Vehicle Related Crime

Patrol Coordinator from Tawa Community Patrol

There has once again been an increase in vehicle related crime across our area.

This includes stolen vehicles, vehicle break-ins and attempted crime.
A reminder not to leave any valuable items in your vehicle, locking your vehicle at all times when unattended and even think of further security measures such as having an alarm and/or steering wheel lock fitted on your vehicle.

And don't forget to report! Report any stolen or damaged vehicles to Police immediately. Remember, if it's happening now - call 111. If it's already happened, call 105. Non-urgent reports can also be made via the 105 website at: 105.police.govt.nz...
