Do you create high quality paintings or artisan products?

Niki from Professional House Cleaning

Hi everyone, if you create high quality paintings and/or artisan products and would like to become part of an Artists' Collective in an inner city outlet for them please text or email your art images to me. I have a plan which involves taking minimal money from the artist in the event of a sale. I have heard of galleries in Wellington taking 40-60% of the sale whereas I'm looking to cover basic costs, that's all....being a painter myself I have always wanted an art shop of my own. All work will be of a high standard. All artists will be required to contribute $20pw towards the rent plus a little extra towards electricity (plus tax will come off sales)....and do a few hours in the shop each fortnight.

Prospa funding helped boost monthly turnover

Prospa

Sandy Urwin wanted to expand the retail offering within her small business Animal Natural Health Centre.

She considered raising funds by selling a stake to an investor but didn’t want to compromise on quality or her vision for the business. She decided to partner with Prospa to achieve her dreams.

A small business loan helped Sandy increase the variety and volume of stock available for customers – ultimately boosting monthly turnover.

Poll: E-scooters: should they stay or should they go?

Katie Townshend Reporter from Dominion Post

Wellington is in a spin over e-scooters, with the city council receiving nearly 5000 submissions ahead of a decision on whether 800 electric scooters, operated by Uber-owned Jump and local startup Flamingo, will stay on the streets for the duration of an 18-month trial. What do you want to happen to the e-scooters?
