Recent incidents on the Peninsula
There is obviously something going on around the Peninsula at the moment as there are lot of you individually posting your experiences. There are too many incidents so we need to do something about this. If you or a family member /neighbour has been subject to some petty crime in the last couple of weeks may I suggest you list it here so it is collated and then I will pass it onto the community constable early next week. Maybe just the type of incident (vandalism / theft / dodgy behaviour) and the street where this occurred. Other suggestions welcome.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
