Would you be interested in hosting an International Student?

The Team from St Catherine's College

St Catherine's College has new students arriving in January 2023 for Term 1 (and two students for most of the year) so we are looking for homestay families now!

There are students coming for short-term (2, 8 and 10 weeks) as well as two longer-term stays (44 weeks). If you're interested in building lifelong friendships, learning about other cultures and offering a kiwi family experience to a young person, please email us at international@scc.school.nz for more information.

Any other questions please get in touch! Yuko, Homestay Coordinator St Catherine's College international@scc.school.nz

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
