Help us finish our tiny house!
Have you got a huge backyard or driveway that you're not using for the next week? Do you like money?
My partner and I have started building a tiny house, but our building site is quite exposed (up by the Makara Wind Farm) and this week it has become far too windy to safely work up there with ladders etc. We're looking for somewhere to park up for the next week so we can finish her off. The space would need to be large enough to accommodate a trailer 8m x 2.4m, and there would be three of us working on it. We have our own generator and the plumbing has been installed, so we wouldn't need to come into your house at all or use any of your amenities. We just need a space! The house is on a trailer which has a current WoF and registration so she's fully legal. We'd be happy to pay you for the use of your space, we just want to get her finished! City Nature Challenge - Karori Skyline Discovery & Play Day - Sunday, 28 April 2024

Foxtail Events in conjunction with Wellington City Council are bringing you a fabulous day out this month!
As part of the City Nature Challenge 2024, we are hosting a Nature Discovery & Play Day at Montgomery Ave Reserve and Karori Skyline filled with an afternoon of fun events!
· Paint a wall with natural paint
· Make clay sculptures for the garden
· Enjoy a sausage on the BBQ
· Learn and discover from about the new Kiwi in our neighborhood from Capital Kiwi
· Listen to a talk on biodiversity form our local expert
· Find our favourite NZ bird, the Kiwi, in a scavenger hunt
· Take a walk and explore the local area on a trail map.
Help to discover all the wild things on the skyline by joining in our family-friendly Bioblitz!
