Poll: The clock's ticking for a recount for Mayor

Sharron Pardoe Reporter from Dominion Post

There's not much time left for Justin Lester to make a call on whether to ask for a recount, or not.
The Local Electoral Act 2001 gives a window of only three days following the official results to ask for a recount.
That gives Lester until Friday to get to the District Court.
Even though it will likely cost ratepayers, should there be a recount?

Yesterday's storm

The Team from Wellington Water

Following the storm on Sunday 8 December we are assessing and collating all of the information and data we received.

This information is important as it helps us understand the impact events like this have on the network. You may see our crews out over the next few days investigating the impact and clearing stormwater drains.

If you experienced flooding within your property (inside your house) during Sunday’s event please contact samantha.mccluskey@wellingtonwater.co.nz with the details and any photos showing the flood water.
