Operation Heartbeat – Apology for an incorrect day of the week

John Rutherford from Wellington North Lions Club

When I posted a notice about this event 4 days ago I incorrectly put Wednesday as the day of the week for it.
The correct day is Tuesday so the notice now reads:
Wellington North Lions Club and Wellington Free Ambulance are holding an evening to instruct the public on the latest CPR methods and how to use a defibrillator.

All welcome.
When - 6.45 pm Tuesday 20th August
Where - Khandallah Town Hall
Cost - gold coin donation

Come and learn this useful skill. You could save a life

Trains suspended on all lines - Are you affected?

The team from Neighbourly.co.nz

All train services in and out of Wellington are suspended due to a nationwide signalling issue.

Services on the Hutt Valley line, four Kāpiti line services, two Melling Line services and two Johnsonville line services have been cancelled.

A statement from Metlink said "we have no estimated time for restoration at this stage". Keep up to date here.
